[Help] MU and WU whining about KB922481

Hi all.

MU and WU keep whining about KB92248. I applied the patch what seems like 300 times but it keeps going on about it.

Can anyone help?

Even though you have obtained correct patch for your computer?

Is the computer running XP or the x64 edition of Microsoft Windows Server 2003?

remove .NET Framework 2.0 and reinstall it and than try to install the Patch

I'm not the only one having this prob, a thread started back went on to having problems about "the whining of MU". I am running a 32-bit of windows xp home and guess what... I'm on x86

It's a bug on the MS side, so is there maybe a regtweak or something to trick MU and WU into thinking it's installed (even though it is )?

I installed this patch yesterday (manually), and it seems just fine. It shows below Net.Framework 2 in Add/Remove program window.

I´m aware of problems people are having with this peace of patch.
