_matt Posted July 16, 2006 Author Posted July 16, 2006 Yeah i know, but how do I fix the windows warning???
T D Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Are your drivers digitally signed? Are there any .cat files next to your INFs? DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore in winnt.sif doesn't usually work. Try removing ALL other drivers for that device (e.g. a nic, remove all ethernet drivers) in nlite so windoze has no choice but to install those drivers. There was a method to sign drivers yourself but it doesn't work now, I can't remember it anyway.
_matt Posted July 17, 2006 Author Posted July 17, 2006 Ok the Windows Logo Driver policy only opens when I install Firefox not other programs. When it pops up it says CD-ROM. This is using Vmare workstation. It is possible that Vmare CDrom is the cause and not a real cdrom??BTW incase it matters firefox in inthe middle of my WPI install list.list isAdobe Reader 7 PRoPhotoshop 8AdwareDVD shrienkOffice 2003Kasperskywinampwinrarvista themenetframe workjavaVmRadminplus more. Is it possible that VMare is the cause.
