NTBackup

Is there any way you can configure NTBackup on 2000 and 2003 server to name the backup log file it creates after a scheduled backup, something other than the default backup01, backup02 etc, like the name of the day it ran?

Also is it possible to write these backup logs to an alternate location such as a folder on a desktop?

Any help appreciated!

Never found a way to do it. The best way would be simply copy/move the original file where you need it whith the filename you need after ntbackup finished its job.
