help - i can't connect on my sons p.c

hi all,

my son "cleaned up his computer with some software off the net and now it won't connect to the internet, it says you can't create a new connection as there is not enough memory or disk space, yet both seem to be fine ??

can you help ?

It said that w/me, I just ignored it and it went away by itself.

It's not actually a memory problem, it's a Windows bug.

I find System restore, thruthfully USELESS!

It doesn't actually restore everything, only the stuff that was logged by the un/installer so it's not gonna help if it's something else.

But try it. You never know!

System Restore is useless. I have it completely removed and disabled. If I ever have a bad enough problem, I either try fixing it or reformat.

Are you sure you have enough free memory (RAM)?

Try going to Start > Run... > and type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes and try connecting... You never know...
