internet connection shareing

I have a windows 2k3 domain server, that im also useing to share the internet connection between my PCs.

im wondering if useing ICS is the "wrong" way to do this. its how ive always done it, but i think there is another way that allows settings of more options. blocked sites, etc.

Thanks to the new WGA crap, i also want to block all MS hosts. is there a way to do that with ICS, or something else in 2k3?

I don't know in detail, but the words you want to google around are Routing and Remote Access
