T D Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I don't get what you mean. Is it like the "Windows NT Blue Screen of Death"?http://uplink.space.com/attachments/188071-bsod.gifSomething like that? What does it say? Can you be more specific on the error codes etc? Thanks.Ps: Shouldn't this be in the windows xp forum?
RJARRRPCGP Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 http://uplink.space.com/attachments/188071-bsod.gifThat's a Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows ME style BSOD. Windows XP and Windows 2000 BSODs don't look like that.
janus zeal Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Windows XP bsod: http://www.thegamerspit.com/~jz/Windows_XP_BSOD.pngDid you recently make any hardware changes?also, if your running cpu intensive apps they can make the computer overheat.
pmshah Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 This usually happens when the temp within the cabinet rises too much. I have known quite a few power suppies dropping their output substantially when they run hot. It might help to run software like aida32 / everest ultimate & monitor the temperatures & voltages.
pockey Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Maybe you computer is infected with some virus? or there is something wrong with your hardware. You can try reinstall Windows and see if the problem is solved.
