army20
HelloHere's my problem: When I'm getting into the Windows GUI, the wireless network connection does not connect automaticly to my unsecure wireless network automaticly even if I cliked on the "connect anyway" bouton once (like we had to do in windows XP the first time you connect to an unsecure wireless network, then it always connect automaticly).I do not want to change my router settings to use encryption. Here's the steps I have to take after each reboot, logoff or standby to connect to the internet :RIGHT CLICK ON THE NETWORKING ICONSELECT CONNECT TOCHOOSE MY WIRELESS NETWORKSELECT CONNECT ANYWAYI've tried to switch from public to private network but it does not change anythings. Biohead
Put some security on it. Vista is supposed to be a really security-wise OS and it certainly won't like you connecting to an unsecured wireless network.

Stead
i put security on to get around this problem, but then i realised i still got the same problem, i'm not on vista at the moment, but i thin it was in the wireless network list, you can click on the properties and there are 3 check boxes, one of them is connect automatically, and thats what sorted mine out
