b0r3d Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 I was just wondering if it were possible to run a program once all the installation aspects has been completed. You know how usually when you install Windows, the tour thing comes up, and tells you all the pretty new features in Windows XP?I was thinking of making a webpage that is copied to the HDD, and set as the browsers homepage, containing details of programs installed etc. I was just wondering if it were possible to load this page once setup is done, and windows is ready to roll.
Aaron Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 Well when your batch finishes, the system will restart itself (if you use psshutdown), if you don't restart automatically then you can start the program you want at the very end of the batch. Otherwise use the runonce registry key: http://www.MSFN.org/board/index.php?act=ST...7491&hl=runonce
