Speech Recognition Error

i used speech Recognition one time and worked fine and i was impressed with it.. but as soon as i restarted computer it gave me error.

Speech Recognition could not start

Make sure the Speech Recognition language is set to English (United States). If you still have problems restart your computer.

i restarted few times.. i made sure that it was set to English (United States).

its set to "Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (en-US)"

other option is (en-GB)

there is settings button beside it but its not click-able.

can some one point me towards solution?

its new to control computer with voice and i was havein so much fun

but i no matter how many times i restart it doesnt work
