WBHoenig
I don't think you can upgrade XP at this moment, and at any rate it would be inadvisable to run it as your primary OS.That might be causing your errors. WisdomWolf
You can upgrade from Xp, but in my experience it is painfully slow to wait for the upgrade. After going through the upgrade on my laptop I found that it was faster with my second machine to do a fresh install and simply reinstall the programs I really needed. I also have a lot less compatibility problems that way. I would highly suggest against upgrading from XP. Vista is almost up to the task of being a primary OS, but you severly limit it if you upgrade from XP.
Alanoll
12. Very often we see meaningless subjects in topic title. They give no clue of what the posts are all about. For example:- Oh no!- Help- I'm mad- Please help- Question- I need your help- Hmmmm ....This should be avoided. Users should enter something more specific in topic title so that it is easier for others to help.A few good examples:- Strange problem with DirectX9b redist- RunOnceEx install problem (double installation)- Change Internet Explorer's Icon back to default
