Is there a way to install Office 2007 Beta 2 without it checking for previous versions - it wont let me install it because it says I have prevous versions installed which I dont

Wide guess but try using a reg cleaner.

I'm running my Office 2003 along side of 2007 Beta 2. Look closely when installing and you'll see a check box that says something like don't uninstall older version. and your good.

No - I cant even get to that stage - as soon as the files have extracted and the setup screen begins to load I cannot go any further because of the message box

Huh? You can run 2003 with 2007? 2007 didn't even prompt me to keep 2003, it just uninstalled it and copied over 2003.

It does not say anything about office 2003 - it goes on about a previous version of Office 2007 which I do not have!

If you are not using beta 2, then the installer will overwrite. I got to keep my 2k3 and 2k7beta.
