Word Form Fields Shading

Hi All

I am working on a document, which has interactive areas, which I have created using form Fields.

the document will eventually be locked and published on the web for people do download and either print off or fill in electonically.

How do I change the shading of the form field, so that when the document is printed, it is not so prominent.

I know you can switch the shading off, but I still want it visible to hightlight the fillable fields for those filling the form in electonically.

It is probably something really obvious, but I can't find it in any of the menus or on word help.

Can anyone help me.

I am not sure if you are all a bit confused about what I am asking.

Does anyone know about more specific formatting of the form fields shadiing, as I can't seen to find anything in the properties etc.

Please help.
