rayr Posted December 5, 2001 Author Posted December 5, 2001 Ok . I will try again.. There is a folder named offline folder in windows xp it's store offline files I synchronize from the server, and I want to move the folder to anoher location on my computer...
XPerties Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 you cant just right click and choose copy then right click and choose paste where you want it? or click and drag to the drive?-XPerties
LS_Dragons Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Try right clicking on the folder. Win2K and XP allow you to move some 'system' type folders like My Documents via this method. I don't have "Offline folders" on this computer or I would check for you.......If that doesn't work - try just creating a new folder in the desired location and reestablishing the offline share -- but this time don't accept the defaults - browse to the folder you want to use for storage.LS
rayr Posted December 5, 2001 Author Posted December 5, 2001 I only get shortcut to the offline folder.. When I start using the offline folder I have Option to have a shortcut to the offline folder on the desktop..
