Anyone know how to stop MS Word formatting a document in work.

I type:

0751 blah blah blah

(then tab to the next line to make a simiilar entry)

(but it tabs me over so that I get)

. . . . 0855 blah blah blah

(so I end up with)

0751 blah blah blah

. . . . 0855 blah blah blah

(when I want to see)

0751 blah blah blah

0855 blah blah blah

I have bullets and numbering set to none, none, none, tabs set to 'clear all', yet I assume here is the seat of the NAZI MS takeover.

Basically, I want to do what I want to do and must somehow overcome big bloody brother MS to do so.

What d'you think, a few keystrokes to fix the problem, or a computer hurled from the twelvth floor - followed by an exasperated computer operator?

As the Fuhrer himself once commented - 'my patience is almost exhausted'.

Thanks

How about this:

On the Tools menu,

click AutoCorrect Options,

and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

Select or clear the options you want.
