Hi,

Well, pretty simple problem, should be an easy solution by I cant seem to find it. Basically I can't change the background image of my desktop..

Basically the background image cant be selected or applied. it can only be the chosen colour

Any ideas pc geniuses?

Hello,

Are you running XP Professional if so i would check in Group Policy to make sure that you background settings haven't been disabled. If you would like a screenshot of how to do this get back to me.

Well I'm running on Winwodws XP Home Edition, tried running "GPEDIT.MSC" but dont seem to work. So im guessing it only works on Professional version. Any other ideas ?
