Hi folks,

first post here so please bare with me ..

anyhow i've tried to search the forum & google for the info but havn't found a focused answer about the issue im having.

I'm using ghost corp 8.2 to clone drives here at work i've encountered VERY slow data rate when cloneing a sata drive to a scsi drive (10,000) - about 20mb/min !!!

i used a ide drive as a middle man to get this to work better when needed, but i could be happy if i knew the reason or the how-to fix / bypass this issue.

Thanks.

Are you cloning from dos or WINPE ?

If you're cloning from dos, you'll get a faster rate from WINPE because PE will use 32bits drivers.

If you're cloning from PE, check the scsi drivers.
