pcrudy Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 how does one include the latest windows installer hotfix incorporated into a windows XP distribution on a network share where we run unattended installs, etc. We keep getting 3.0 installed not 3.1; as a result defender will not install unless we get the right msiexec installed. T D Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 (edited) Dl the Win Installer 3.1v2 here and integrate it as a hotfix in nLite. Or /Integrate:%windowscd% switch, but that's slower cos both patched and original files are on the cd, and Windows Setup chooses the appropriate one.Edit: let's try this again, url seems not to have come up...
