[Error] Windows XP Won't Boot

Hi everyone.

One of my friends is expecting me to go to his house tomorrow to fix his computer running Windows XP Home Edition SP2 which won't boot, that's pretty much all I know.

The machine is fairly new and Windows XP Home came pre-installed on it so there is no disk we can use to "repair Windows" or anything similar.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Bring your XP CD with you. You might need it to perform a repair install or similar.
