I need to know the registry entries of these hotfixes

Hi again!

I'd like to know what registry entries these hotfixes create when they are installed from SVCPACK.INF.

Any way to find out this? I've uncompressed these patches but I don't find any INF file with registry directives.

I could use a RegShot like program, but I think this method is not very accurate, because other entries may be introduced in the registry while monitoring it (not related to these hotfixes).

if u run the fixes and go to the temp folder where they unpack u will see a folder called update. in this folder u have the .inf file which contains the registry entries.

or u go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows XP\SP3 and u will find what u need

You can too use this command to extract the files from the update :

update.exe /x:"folder_temp"
