Will you upgrade Windows Vista?

I will get Vista as I am older and do not have as much time as you! Was expecting to have to:

1. Buy Vista
   
2. Buy Graphics card - with Pixel Shader 2
   
3. Buy additional 1 Gig Ram (Have 1 Gig so this may not be needed)
   

The Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor also says my BigPond Wireless Modem is not supported at present..
