How to make boot sector more than 12MB?

Hi all,

i wanna to know How i can make boot sector more than 12 MB?

Linx make one like that !! (I know that boot sector must be 512 byte for floppy and 2KB for CD)

The linx method is to using the first (bound) boot sector to load the secound which is 15 MB.

If any one Know How this action can be done Plz Reply.

sir, i think you are confused about the role of the boot sector.

it's only purpose is to create a stack, do a tiny bios thing, and load a kernel.... surely you don't need 12mb of code to do that
