office 97 under xp is it working or not?

I'm stuck on few programs that needs office 97 and windows 98 and i need to install a second version of windows on the same pc but it will a xp home edition.I don't want to buy a license for office xp to use it on windows xp home edition and i want to use the office 97.Can be patch some how to have a full use under xp?

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work in a XP environment. Have you tried it?
