techjunkie Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 hi!!i need to be able to install and runtally 4.5 (which is a dos based accounting program) on a new lenovo laptop, which wont allow me to install win98 (driver problem).... guyz, its imp for me to install tally 4.5 dos based version so pls suggest some workaround............or is there a utility to externally convert tally 4.5 data to tally 5.4 or 6.3 or 7.2 versions?tks in adv for your time,,,nitesh p.

techjunkie Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 hi there! i downloaded and tried dox box, it does not work with tally 4.5 (an accounting software).now which other virtual pc software is available, i will be grateful if anyone can help me with this one. pls gv me links to such software if it is downloadable. what is vmware? can it used to resolve my problem? can it installed over xp? vmware's site has so many products, which one is for me?tks in advanceniteshp
