Thunderbolt 2864 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 (edited) Hey guys,Have you installed the Windows Messenger add on for IE7? Man, everytime when I open MSN Messenger 7.5, it would crash with that stupid dialog box saying this program needs to close, do you wish to report it. Have you guys experienced this problem? I disabled the add on, no luck. Uninstalled MSN Messenger 7.5 and reinstalled it, no luck as well. Uninstalled and reinstalled IE7, no luck as well, and I can't delete the add on. Do you guys know how to delete this add on? Its very frustrating.Anyway, I use Firefox and I was using IE7 for testing, I want to leave it on my machine so I could perform future experiments with it. And I'm using the latest build. Edited May 3, 2006 by Thunderbolt 2864
WolfX2 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 i would say, system restore is the best policy in this case, quick and simple too
Thunderbolt 2864 Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I disabled System Restore because I was paranoid about gaining unnecessary disk space on my hard drive. Anyway, I deleted IE7, didn't like it too much anyway.
