May 1, 200620 yr On my primary comptuer i have two monitors attached to it. The first monitor is running at a resolution of 1600x1200 which i use for most of my work. My second monitor is at a resolution of 1024x768. I connect remotely to a few different computers and i want to be able to display them full screen on the second monitor, but when i set Remote Desktop to full screen it takes the resolution of my first monitor. How can i make my remote connection be full screen on the second monitor?
May 2, 200620 yr Author I dont want to have my second monitor as the primary, that will cause the system bar to move to my second monitor, i just want the remote desktop connection to open in full screen on my second monitor. Note: When i have both monitors set to 1024x768 i can do full screen on either monitor, but not when i have them set to different resolutions, then it defaults to the primary monitor resolution.
May 2, 200620 yr try this...don't know if it will work or not....create a rdp connection with all your settings....and have the icon setting on the monitor your workin on....launch from there....you can also look at the settings by viewin the rdp connection in notepad....notice the first line...screen modethis is full screenscreen mode id:i:2and this is not full screenscreen mode id:i:1from here you can highly customize the desktop width and desktop height
