ophiel Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 (edited) i have a habit of using Notepad for pretty much all of my text editing needs. i do programming, edit html, everything text related i do in Notepad.this works out great except windows Notepad has many limitations, the most annoying of which is a filesize limitation.i've tried many notepad replacements including metapad, win32pad, bdv pad, and notepad2, but none of them have come close to TED Notepad.i just found this program the other day and i've been really happy with it. it's also one of the few notepad replacements that doesn't have any strange font anomalies. (half of the notepad replacements i tested can't properly deal with fonts + high ascii, more specifically when using Terminal font)so anyways, save yourself a headache and try the one rock solid Notepad replacement: TED Notepad at http://jsimlo.sk/notepad/ Edited April 28, 2006 by ophiel
