prx984
im currently having a problem with a computer where when it boots up the monitor says sync out of range. now, i tried booting into safe mode, that will set it to 640X 480 @ 60hz and that displays fine on the monitor. but when it boots into safe mode, it still does the same thing. is there any way to change the resolution of the monitor from say a command line with the windows XP cd in recovery console? if so, please tell, need the computer running fairly quickly.-brianEDIT : Got it working, went through keystroke process on my desktop, that didnt work, tried it on my laptop and got it, thanks anyway guys. mods delete this post if you want, sorry for so many posts latley Edited April 27, 2006 by brian10161
