Vista 5342 Audio Problems

Hello,

I have a Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card, and creative inspire 4400 (4.1). This is setup to quadraphonic within windows vista, and with the creative control panel. However, I can only get sound through two of my four speakers. When I play the test tone in vista's audio properties it plays through all four speakers; I can only get sound through two speakers in windows media player, so I tried using different media players but still have the same problem. I have tried a wide range of drivers but it seems not to make any difference including creative's vista drivers which wouldn’t even install. If anyone knows of a solution I’d be happy to hear it.
