Hi, I have installed windows 2003 server enterprise edition, however, when i plug my external harddrive in via USB2 it is listed under safely remove hardware but not in 'my computer' as a hardrive. There is nothing wrong with my external disk drive, i tested it on another computer. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks in advanced, Matt

Hi, I’m building myself a computer, with an AMD 64 processor. I have a windows XP x64 bit ISO. Id like to know what the latest service pack for x64 is so that I can integrate it, if someone could post a download link that would be very helpful. Is the Integration method the same as that for 32 bit? Also Can someone tell me if I can use my x86 (32 bit) XP pro key code on XP x64 (64 bit). Thanks Matt

hello, I've got a Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card, which finally works with the creative vista drivers. Also ive got Creative Inspire 4400 4.1 Speakers, which use two audio jacks to connect, these are analogue. Ive installed the vista drivers and setup the audio properties to quadraphonic however, i cannot get sound through all four speakers, only two. Is anyone else having similar problems? Or know of a solution then please post here. Thanks Matt

Hello, I have a Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card, and creative inspire 4400 (4.1). This is setup to quadraphonic within windows vista, and with the creative control panel. However, I can only get sound through two of my four speakers. When I play the test tone in vista's audio properties it plays through all four speakers; I can only get sound through two speakers in windows media player, so I tried using different media players but still have the same problem. I have tried a wide range of drivers but it seems not to make any difference including creative's vista drivers which wouldn’t even install. If anyone knows of a solution I’d be happy to hear it. Hey, I have installed Windows Vista 5342, which includes Internet Explorer 7.0.5342.2. I tried customizing the toolbar, I set it up the way I want it. I removed the 'research' button and that kept reappearing whilst I was browsing. Then when I closed the explorer and reloaded it the entire toolbar was back to default layout. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

hi, I am running Vista Build 5342, there do not seem to be alot of updates which is suprising. When the next build is released (5365 on Monday) will i have to download the entire operating system again?, or can i just upgrade it using windows update. thanks matt

Hi again, Are you saying that any xp 'license key' that is legitimate will work. because ive been trying other 'product keys' like the one on the cd in my xp installer and then havent been working. And you said about the cd being 'read only'. what i ment was, copying the xp installation to my hardrive removing any 'read only' attributes and then editing/ tweaking/ hacking xp to change the 'license key' or 'product key' without atcually installing that version of xp. So that next time i do a fresh installation of xp pro i have to enter a different 'licsence key' or 'product key' which isnt VLK.

Hello, Thanks for replying so quickly. My problem is that i cant install my slipstream copy becuase service pack 2 has been intergrated. And my licence key is no longer valid. What i would like to do is edit the xp pro installation cdrom and change the product key there. Thanks Again Matt

Hello ther, With the windows xp pro installation cd rom is there a way of changing the product key, so that when you install windows xp pro you have to enter a diffent product key to the one that is already intergrated with the cd rom. I would like to know so that its possible to slipstream service pack 2 into the cd rom. The current product key does not allow this. Thanks for your time lord beldingfield
