svasutin Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 So i'm trying to figure out how to get the Repair Option back in to my slip-streamed discs, but also have the option for a full slipstream and unattended setup. Naturally, I would like to mininize the disc size. One of my problems is, i require the 6 October 2005 pci-e fix kb890463 for some of my installations (xp crashes during the install w/o it), the other issue is t-12 and first boot.I've found, if clients are using SATA drives, the client has deleted the c:\install\PnpDrvrs folder, and the Via Raid Tool is uninstalled, then the system will not load into windows.Any help is appreciated.Thank you
Rahbas Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 To return the repair option you can make a multiboot cd. The instructions are at this website http://gosh.msfnhosting.com/part1.htmAdditionaly, a thread was created here on MSFN too. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...8&hl=unattendedI did one of these about 2 1/2 years ago and it worked out real well. Takes a bit of time to do though. Not sure about your SATA question.
