Hi,

I followed the steps to create a unnatended XP CD but don't know how to use it.

If I boot from the CD it starts as an normal installation.

Help!

Thanks,

Miguel

Unattended is meant to install windows. Some folks integrate the latest updates, drivers and programs to make the install as complete and as painless as possible. Reasons to re-install might be due to a virus, trojans, rootkits, or even badly written programs that have hosed the system.

to start it, do you mean you create the image, generate an iso, burn to disc, put in cd-drive and then press any key when prompted and it does what you wanted it to do, (install XP, install tweaks, install apps),

or,

do you mean something else?

ok, so you have the imge all prepared.

Have you run generated the iso to burn to CD?

if not you need to do that and then it will build your PC.

ok...see..

after you create the WINNT.SIF you need to put it in the xp cd before you burn it...

put it in the I386 directory...

don't forget to see that the file name is correct...

after the cd is running u'll need to select the paratition and format the drive and after it will copy the files and reboot you'll see that the setup program runs automaticly...

if you have any other probs contact me in MSN MESSENGER

cheers mate...
