I'll add it here so that everyone knows:He installed Diskeeper Lite which restored the defrag option in the properties window of a hard drive. He said that the cause of it was when he installed O&O Defrag a while back and when he uninstalled it, it removed Windows Defrag as well (weird). BradBo Posted July 19, 2003 Author Share Posted July 19, 2003 Actually I didnt uinnstall the O&O program.When I reinstalled XP it didnt seem to see the startup file of O&O.So I just tried to delete the directory of O&O and I think it must of screwed up the default XP defrag somehow.O&O wasnt listed in the regular add/remove programs list.Thanks every one for your help.MSFN is the greatest.Brad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
