Direct X 9.0c

hey, ive downloaded the dx redistribute file and extracted it into a folder inside of wich it puts 9 files, 1 setup, 2 dll's, and 6 rarfiles/cab files, to install this do i copy this folder into my wpi/install/applications folder and install it via the setup file like any other program? or does it have to be installed differntly?

on the main page its got

The DirectX 9.0b OPK does not require any switches to silently install. Add the following commands to your existing batch file:

ECHO.

ECHO Installing DirectX 9.0b

ECHO Please wait...

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\DirectX9b\DX9NTopk.exe"

so im confused on this, any help is apreciated

to install directx 9c it is not needed to do something on the ms install file :

just start this two commands :

start /wait DirectX90C_install_downloaded_from_microsoft_website.EXE /Q /T:%TEMP%\DIRECTX9

start /wait %TEMP%\DIRECTX9\DXSETUP.exe /SILENT
