Printer problem

I have a printer that i connect to wirelessly through my internet router. I installed XPize, and I recieve an error stating that 'the power may be off, the network cable may be unplugged, or i may be connected to a VPN.' I uninstalled XPize, thinking that may be the problem, but it didn't help. Anyone know how to fix this? I know i'm not connected to a VPN.
