tristanathotmaildotcom Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 hey i just got a brand spankin new computer and got media player 10. i was ripping my cds in no time at all and could also play songs at the same time, but now after 4 gig of music, it rips slow and i cant do much else at the same time. can anyone help me out, or am i stuffed?
DigeratiPrime Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 If you ripped 4GB of audio cds to wma or mp3 you probably went through alot of cds! My initial guess is your hard drive is fragmented, or you have other processes running that are consuming cpu thus slowing the encoding process.
