Aaron Posted December 1, 2001 Share Posted December 1, 2001 Running System File Checker from the command prompt won't work. I ran SFC /SCANNOW and it asks to insert the WinXP Professional CD-ROM. I did that and it still asks for a CD. My CD is made from the eval ISO with corpfiles, and made bootable by Nero. The WinXP installation also came from the CD i created, so SFC should work.
