Windows 2003 Question

I installed windows 2003 yesterday and i was wondering is it possible to change the boot menu and the login screen like u would in windows xp and how would one go around doing that if u culd do it... thanks

As far as I know you cannot set an avatar for your accounts in Windows 2003. As far as the boot menu goes, you can set it to autologin and also tweak the registry so it uses a theme of your choice for bootup/shutdown windows. You can find that information in MSFN's Windows 2003 --> Workstation guide :)

For the autologin.. umm..

Start Menu-->Run-->Regedit-->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Set/Create the following keys to the following string (REG_SZ) values:

AutoAdminLogon "1"

DefaultPassword "your password you'd like to automatically login with"

DefaultUsername "your username you'd like to automatically login with"
