Ok im still new at all this but does anyone know what order I should be doing this in and if so am I right.

-nlite - Setting up windows

-setupmgr.exe - Setting up winnt.sif

-cd image - burning an image

then trying to install.. cause i just did that and it comes up in the setup and says the syssetup.inf is corrupt or missing... and it will not let me go any further

For beginners, I wouldn't recommand mixing highly sofisticated automatic tools such as nLite with using basic 'manual' ones such as setupmgr.exe & cd_image.

Either use nLite from A to Z.

It works very fine but it is not the best to understand what is going on.

Or DIY.

You then will have to learn and do one step after the other, but it is the most interesting!

Well what I did was use Nlite for tedious things such as integration, for SP2 and all post-SP2 hotfixes.

From there I used setupmgr.exe to create the .SIF file and added drivers this way. Then I jumped back to Nlite to create the ISO and burn. Works like a charm. I, however, do not.
