March 28, 200620 yr EDIT:I went through it about 10 times, each time identical to the last, and it just started working. I dont know why. Hi there,I use remote desktop extensively and have been using the termserv.dll from SP2 build 2055 for concurrent sessions. It's very convienent when I am at work and my girlfriend is on my computer. Anyways I have this on all of my computers and I reinstall the hack everytime I format. I just formatted my XP Pro desktop and did all the updates/drivers etc and I'm having major trouble getting the hack to work. This is what I did.Renamed the 2055 dll to termserv2.dll and put it in /system32Rebooted to safe mode with command prompt, deleted termserv.dll and renamed termserv2.dll to termserv.dll. Then I changed directories to dllcache and deleted the one from there. I then loaded explorer in safe mode and merged the registry file I have that enables concurrent sessions in CurrentControlSet. Just like every other time. Lastly I changed group policy to allow 2 connections. I reooted and Terminal Services won't start. The event viewer says something along the lines of.The Terminal Services service terminated with the following error: Error 126: the specified module could not be found.I have double checked everything, and either there is just something unique/flakey about this particular installation of Windows that is acting up, or Microsoft has done something to fix this. Since I haven't read about any other problems, I am assuming this is just a glitch unique to me. Does anyone have any recommendations on something to try? Edited March 29, 200620 yr by Mistar Muffin
