FrontPage 2002 - Will Not display correctly in Netscape or Firefox

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Have created 3 different websites and they do not display correctly in Netscape or Firefox...

1. Website - http://home.comcast.net/~mdsmeck

a. Functionality is fine in IE 6.0

b. Netscape 8.1 - 2nd Button on Home Page Overlaps 1st Button

c. Firefox 1.5.0.1 - Same isse as Netscape 8.1 - Not surprising as Netscape 8.1 States it is based on Firefox

2. Website - http://home.comcast.net/~rcsbrewhouse

a. Functionality is fine in IE 6.0

b. Netscape 8.1 - On Homepage - 2nd picture should be on the right, it is positioned below the first picture on the left...Also, subtopics under Pictures - i.e. The different galleries to pull up, when pulling them up, do not show the Top-Of-Page Logo - just a small square for the pic in the left top corner of where the logo is...

c. Firefox 1.5.0.1 - Same - Not surprising...

3. Website - http://home.comcast.net/~smeckcity

a. Functionality is fine is IE 6.0

b. Netscape 8.1 - Top Logo does not display at all for any page...

c. Firefox 1.5.0.1 - Same - Not surprising...

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get these issues resolved??? :realmad::}

Thanks In Advance...

Mike...

OK...The issue with #1 I have resolved :thumbup

Was an Ooppsss on my part... :blushing:

The displaying of the Logo's for 2 and 3 remains an issue that I need to resolve...

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks In Advance...

That's because FrontPage isn't standards compliant, it's the reason IE only sites exist.

In my opinion it's total crap the only solution to your problem (apart from manually editing all the code) is to use an alternative like FrameMaker or Dreamweaver.
