Satin Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Hello all:) I was trying to burn an audio CD today, I'm having problems, and I was really hoping someone could help me. I tried Windows media player first, it wouldn't do it, and I don't know why. it would convert all of the files, then say that it couldn't copy and gave me a generic help page that didn't help at all. so then I tried Nero, because my media player has done this before. it was fine, except for saying the highest speed it could burn at was 4x, when it's a 52x unit. so, it starts, and within a minute, it says it failed, because of a power calibration error. What??? I'm utterly lost here. how do I fix that???
jroc Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 power calibration error generally means you type of media is failing.....try another brand. Also your cdrw will only burn the speed of the media..for example if you cdrw is rated 4X..then your 52x CDRW will burn at 4X speed...if your media your talking about is rated higher and your only getting 4X speed..then that is the indicator the quality of the media is failing.
