I have been reading about Universal Group Caching, and just wanted some opinions on its pros / cons.

From my understanding if Universal Group Caching is enabled, If a DC in a site which is also a GC goes down, users will still be able to be authenticated if Universal Group Caching, because it is refreshing the cach from another site. I suppose you would select the main site to refresh from. Is this a correct description of what Universal Group Caching is used for? And what do you guys think about this option?

Just some info on our network - one domain name, seven sites with one DC in each site which is a GC, and Two DCs in our head office with only one as a GC. All servers windows 2003.

Thanks!!
