Jeremy: finally it worked with:

C:\joycp_:26810 bytes to 68608 bytes, 155% increase.

I tried the recorder tab, but got same error message.

I went to system 32, but did not see the ext. file joy.cpl, but dos said that it created it. Is that extension supposed to show up in system 32?

Thanks for your help...it does not look like there is a fix.
