Exited word without saving. Need to get information back!

I have just been typing an essay in Microsoft Word 2003. Unfortunately, in a moment of absolute madness I exited the program without saving. I need to get the information hat I typed back. Is there anywhere that Word stores this information?? Would system restore have kep a copy of the file even though I said not to save it?

Well AutoRecover probably snatched a copy of your essay if you were on it for more than 10 mins-i think the default setting is ten minutes...

Open word and if autorecover did save a copy then it should automatically come up on the task pane
