Advanced INF Install Error

During the Install Devices part of the unattended setup i get an Advanced INF Install error (Cant find C:\WINXP\INF\***.inf). Can anyone tell me what file is responsable for this.

Sounds like a reference to a missing file to me. How are you implementing your drivers? What's the actual time shown during setup when the error pops up?

Also, are you using WINXP as your Windows directory on purpose? Or is that a mistype somewhere?

yes winxp si set up via winnt.sif

that problem was corrected. i had a bogus entry in my hivesft file, but i get that same error now during the registering components part of the setup
