prathapml
kamran-why's it so difficult for u?1. set your sound scheme, save the .theme file.2. export over your sounds & .theme file to CD, using $OEM$ folder structures.3. finally apply the theme thru winnt.sif, to make it the default.GUIDE - http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/76/
jonathan_314
I have a small proposition for this problem, but I'm not sure if this will work so perhaps someone else can tell if I'm right or wrong.Kamran wants to replace the soundfiles from the original CD with his own wave files. Someone told that this could be done with HFSLIP. I read that it is possible to replace files. (never did it, don't have the time to try everyting)The other solution is to put the new files in the $OEM$ folder (in a sub folder) But then he has the origal files + his own files on the cd. And I think that our friend Kamran doesn't like the waste of space. But for him the HFSLIP doesn't work. So here comes my idea:1) Look for the file you want to change:eg Windows XP Error.wav2) search the file in the I386 folderI think that must be XPERROR.WA_ that you will need to search3) Change the file name of your sound file to thismyfile.wav => XPERROR.WAV4) then use MODIFYPE.EXE to compress the file so it will be XPERROR.WA_5) Replace this file with the original file in the I386I'm not sure if this will work. I used this method for the billboard so that is why I made the connection with the soundfiles. It will only take some time to change al the files (65 wave files). But I think this method must work.If there is someone who can confirm this or just tear my method into pieces, i would be glad.Kind regardsJonathan.
