Hi,

Anyone knows which files are important for complex script support in the Language folder under i386? I don't need East Asian support and my un-attended CD is 785MB now, by removing East Asian Languages I hope I can make it 740-750 but don't know which files to remove...

NLite should be your easiest and safest option. Even if you prefer setting everything else manually, nLite will give you a great deal of flexibility in customizing your language options...and keyboard layouts.

If you need only simple script support (western european basically) you may not need the WHOLE folder.

At least, during my testings i used to remove it completely ... before updatepacks create it back to put some stuff in it, which I did not remove.

Here's the stuff (1.51Mb !!!):

cplexe.ex_

imekr61.im_

imjp81.im_

imjp81k.dl_

imjpcd.di_

imjpcic.dl_

imjpcus.dl_

imjpdct.dl_

imjpdsvr.ex_

imjpinst.ex_

imjpmig.ex_

imjprw.ex_

imjputy.ex_

imjputyc.dl_

voicepad.dl_

voicesub.dl_

I'm pretty sure it's not necessary but I'll wait for you to test that hypothesis!
