nawaz Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 (edited) Hi,Anyone knows which files are important for complex script support in the Language folder under i386? I don't need East Asian support and my un-attended CD is 785MB now, by removing East Asian Languages I hope I can make it 740-750 but don't know which files to remove...Nawaz Edited March 15, 2006 by nawaz
Lazy8 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 NLite should be your easiest and safest option. Even if you prefer setting everything else manually, nLite will give you a great deal of flexibility in customizing your language options...and keyboard layouts.
Djé Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 If you need only simple script support (western european basically) you may not need the WHOLE folder. At least, during my testings i used to remove it completely ... before updatepacks create it back to put some stuff in it, which I did not remove. Here's the stuff (1.51Mb !!!):cplexe.ex_imekr61.im_imjp81.im_imjp81k.dl_imjpcd.di_imjpcic.dl_imjpcus.dl_imjpdct.dl_imjpdsvr.ex_imjpinst.ex_imjpmig.ex_imjprw.ex_imjputy.ex_imjputyc.dl_voicepad.dl_voicesub.dl_I'm pretty sure it's not necessary but I'll wait for you to test that hypothesis!
