fizban2 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 has anyone else seen this issue, trying to mount a WIM i created and it mounting correctly but giving an error that the resource is no longer available when you try to open the folder?
fizban2 Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 just more info, this happens on all wims that i created or that came with the WAIK, filter has been installed successfully. is anyone else seeing this also? have had another person come up with the same error. wondering is anyone else is seeing this too
allen2 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I had this problem when i tried to ximage a full vista hd install. Every time i mounted this image i got problems exploring the mounted image. It even rebooted my XP when i tried to remove the programdata folder.
fizban2 Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 anyone testing the WAIK and can mount an image and edit the content or even just get into the folder? tried to install on vista with no success, can use all other features of ximage, i would expect that i am just doing somehting wrong or there would have been more talk of this not working
gadget Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Was this ever resolved. Can mount and commit changes when running on Win 2003 Server but cannot access the mounted wims on XPsp2...
fizban2 Posted May 18, 2006 Author Posted May 18, 2006 NOpe hasn't been fixed yet, an new WAIK should come out with beta 2that address the issue
