daveinoliva
Hi, I have an on-board c-media ac97 card. I cannot get the mike to work, I have re-installed latest drivers, gone into the xear 3D panel and set the relevant settings. Could this be a BIOS issue . The mike works when plugged into another computer. I can hear sound ok via the card.Cheers DaveTitle edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. Please follow XP Forum Rules from now on.--Sonic
Rudi1
I have the same problem like you,but I'am not shure if this fix yours.Try to open volume control and look if the sliders are in high position, then try to push the sliders a little bit lower. In my case I fix troble with sound. You can try and see
MrGuy
Check to see if you have advanced controls under "options" in your volume control panel. There's a view option you can check to have it included on your volume control panel.Once on your panel, uncheck mute box and adjust your levels. For some reason the windows doesn't have it in default view and it mutes it as well. Edited March 6, 2006 by MrGuy
